TOP Creation Awards 2026 for young creators
Alicante Provincial Council has published the rules for the 22nd Provincial Youth Awards, known as TOP Creation 2026. It is a chance for local creators in the province to showcase their work and compete for cash prizes worth a total of €18,000 across all categories.
For those of us in the film and TV industry, the Short Film category takes centre stage this year, with a brief that invites technical and narrative creativity.
Key points of the Short Film category
What makes this edition special is that the films must be shot entirely on a mobile phone. These are the main requirements to bear in mind:
- Who can enter: people aged 14 to 30 living in the province of Alicante.
- Format and length: the short must run between 2 and 5 minutes, in MP4 format.
- Social theme: films must address issues such as preventing bullying, equal opportunities or preventing gender-based violence.
- Prizes: three awards of €1,000, €700 and €300 respectively.
Deadlines and how to enter
Entries are open until 23:59 on Friday 29 May 2026. As we always recommend, read the technical rules carefully before sending your work to make sure your script and image quality meet the judging criteria.
