Protopartículas (short film)

We are kicking off our 1 Short a Week initiative with an iconic project from our part of the world: Protopartículas by Chema García Ibarra.

Through an experiment, a man tries to prove the existence of protomatter, an imaginary substance that has appeared in films such as «Superman» and «Star Trek».

Filmed in Elche in 2009, it runs for 7 minutes.

It had an incredible international festival run, and no wonder: it is so original…

Written and directed by: Chema García Ibarra
