Perromaquia: Borja López’s satire at Alicante Cinema

Filmmaker Borja López presents his latest work, Perromaquia, in the Alicante Cinema section at the next Alicante Film Festival.
Starring Fernando Corral and Lidia Mínguez, the piece is a mockumentary offering a biting satire of bullfighting. Through humour and an interview, the short looks at the state of this practice in a fictional world where dogs take the place of bulls in the ring, directly questioning the traditional ideas behind it.
It is one of the most critical films in this year’s local selection.
The screening will take place on Tuesday 26 May at 19:00 at Kinépolis cinemas (Plaza Mar 2).
