Mesa para 3 (short film)

Five friends arrive at a restaurant to have dinner together, but there is a problem: their booking is for a table for three. Two of them will have to stay outside. A seemingly simple situation ends up putting the group’s relationships, tensions and priorities on the table.

Mesa para 3 (Table for 3), directed by Elche filmmakers Álvaro G. Company and Meka Ribera, has a cast that includes Luis Zahera, Paco Tous, Nacho Guerreros, Nerea Garmendia, Alexandra Masangkay and Luis Mottola.

The short has had a long festival run, winning, among other awards, first prize at Cortos Divinos, an initiative of the Spanish Film Academy, and the award for Best Valencian Short Film Screenplay at Humans Fest. It was also selected for Alicante Cinema 2024, the section of the Alicante International Film Festival dedicated to talent from the province.
