El Autoestopista: roadside suspense by Melina Bolopá
Short film
The short film El Autoestopista (The Hitchhiker), directed by Melina Bolopá, has been selected for the Alicante Cinema section at the next Alicante Film Festival.
The story puts the viewer on a road where a young woman driving alone crosses paths with a stranger. What begins as a trivial, everyday encounter gradually becomes unsettling, exploring the tension inside a space as ordinary as a car on the road.
It will be screened on Tuesday 26 May at 16:30 at Kinépolis cinemas (Plaza Mar 2).
