The film industry in our province is as busy as ever. This week we are sharing a new casting opportunity in Alicante for young talent. The search is on for a lively, natural child to star in an upcoming advert that will be filmed on our coast this April.
With casting by Marisol López Rubio, the project is after a very specific profile: a boy with that fresh, true-to-life quality, very much in the style of «Manolito Gafotas».
Profile and requirements
Previous filming experience is not essential for this casting, although ease and confidence in front of the camera will be a plus.
- Age: 8 to 10.
- Personality: someone expressive and likeable and, above all, natural on camera.
- Skills: able to deliver lines confidently (the character has dialogue in a key scene set in an ice-cream parlour and on the beach).
- A note on costume: although the look includes glasses, the child does not need to wear them normally, as they will be provided by the art and costume department.
How to send your material

- Basic details: name, age, height and town of residence.
- Photos: one close-up and one full-length (both recent).
- Introduction video: a short clip of no more than 1 minute.
- Text test: a video performing the ice-cream script (the exact text and technical instructions are on our social media).
Remember: the video must be filmed in landscape, as a mid shot or close-up, looking at the camera and aiming for as natural a performance as possible.
The project will be filmed entirely in Alicante in April 2026. It is a great opportunity for children to experience a professional set in a safe, creative environment.
